The Many Faces

The piece is eye-catching. The amount of detail makes the viewer stop and take a closer look, see what's going on. Each figure seems to carry a story, expresses a different emotion. The viewer wishes to know what is behind this image.

The individual figures are anatomically correct, and yet have a fantasy element to them - very good combination. My only qualm is with the hand holding the brush - something seems off about it. Hands are difficult to draw, which is why recommend using references and even tracing until it becomes second nature. Tracing is a great way to learn and familiarize ourselves with how the correct shape "feels". I used to do it often in my own work. It serves as a tool for learning through muscle memory - which strokes to apply to get the desired effect.

I see this piece as part of a poster for a theatrical performance or some kind of festival. It has strong attention-grabbing features.
