This is my entry for The Day The Dead Rose Contest from the great

What thing can animate a Zombie Dragon ? his magic fire !
But the fire, almost lava, consume the undead dragon little by little.

The combination of acrylics and colored pencils really bring this piece to life! I love how it looks as if it is going to pop right out of the page at you. The detail is simply inspirational!

(And the video is inspirational too might I add)

As for the zombie part, I find it amazing how you have made the flesh look like it is hanging off the bone and I love how the blood glows like lava. I also like how you've made the bones white, popping them off the page, it gives this piece a more realistic side.

Overall, the detail is beautiful and I simply cannot find anything that I dislike about it at all! Epic piece!

Magnifique oeuvre de notre ami Krukof; es taches d'orange et le bleuté des éclairs sont les premiers éléments qui m'ont sauté aux yeux, car ils rehaussent la composition déjà parfaite du dessin! Les textures et l'effet "mort vivant" du dragon sont parfaitement rendus, notamment par la transition entre peau et os plus ou moins marquée ou l'effet "fondu" des parties plus en retrait. La pierre est elle aussi parfaitement travaillée, ainsi que les ombres, qui donnent du relief et de la vie à cette scène de combat. Si à première vu le mage peut paraître un peu statique, on peut vite supposer que cette allure droite traduit sa rigueur et sa confiance face à ce terrible adversaire.
Bref, aujourd'hui j'ai tué un dragon (et j'ai aimé ça)
